Thank you for being a Sigma Aquaguard Customer. We/Us (“Sigma Aquaguard Ltd.”) aim to provide You (“Customer”) with a hassle-free shopping experience at https://sigmaropurifier.com/ (Site). This cancellation, replacement, return and refund policy (“Policy”), together with the Terms of Use (“Terms”) sets out our procedures and policies in accepting Sigma Aquaguard Products (“Products”) cancellation, replacement, return and refund thereof.

 

Applicability

By agreeing to use the Site and/or initiating a request for purchase of Product(s) on the Site, You agree to be bound by the Terms contained in this Policy without modification.
Please note that We may from time to time change the Terms of the Policy that govern your cancellation, replacement, return and refund of an order for Products on the Site. Every time you wish to use the Site, please check the Policy to ensure you understand the Terms and conditions that apply at the prevailing time.

Cancellation of Products

You may cancel orders for Products prior to the shipment being shipped. Orders cannot be cancelled once the shipment has been completed.
Returns / Replacement of Products

You may initiate the request for return/replacement of the Product within 10 (ten) days from the time the Product(s) is/are delivered (“Replacement Period”) provided:

  • Products which are received in a physical damaged condition, have to be reported to Us within 24 hours of delivery or before installation of the Products
  • Product is defective or is not in working condition.
  • Wrong Product has been delivered.
  • Product or parts of the Product or accessory that are missing, to be reported to Us within 24 hours of delivery or before installation of the Product.
  • You shall keep the Products in its unused, original condition, along with the original invoice/ sale receipt, brand outer box, MRP tags attached, user manual, warranty cards, and original accessories in manufacturer packaging for a successful replacement pick-up. We would accept the request for replacement of such Product subject to the terms of this Policy.
  • If You have received a Product which qualifies for replacement in terms of this Policy, We suggest You to immediately register a request in this regard on the Site. We will in our sole discretion verify if: (a) the defects and damages in the Products or inaccuracy claimed in such Products are acceptable by Us, or (b) such defects, damages or inaccuracy are due to our fault, and will accordingly post verification, accept or reject the request for replacement. For such verification, We may request You to send Us images of the damaged, defective or inaccurate Product received and/or allow our personnel to schedule a call or visit to assess the damage, defect in the Product. Further to the assessment of the damage or the concern reported in the replacement request, We may in our sole discretion resolve the issue subject to the assessment report, in a manner as We may deem fit.
  • In case You have sought a replacement, your replacement will be processed only when the conditions as may be stipulated by Us are fulfilled at the time of replacement of such Products, such as the Product to be replaced being provided to Us in original condition along with the invoice copy, original packaging of the Product, also provided the serial number/ bar code of the Product matches our records.
  • We shall not replace any damaged Product caused by your improper use or unauthorized/incorrect installation of the Product, or any modification or change to the Product by You or a third party or any depreciation in the value for other reasons. We will deem such Product a damaged, defective Product. Any decision by Us in this regard shall be final and binding.
  • All return requests will be accepted subject to the prevailing conditions of this Policy and further subject to our sole discretion upon submission of the form on the Site. To access the Returns form, please Click here.
  • Products such as Water Purifier Cartridges, filters, membranes, and Aquasoft Water Softener Regeneration Salt are not eligible for returns and replacement.
  • No returns or refund requests shall be entertained upon expiry of 10 (ten) days from the date of delivery. Further no refunds and requests shall be entertained post installation of the Product even if the request is made within the 10 (ten) days period.

Refunds

  • At the time of raising a request for return or cancelling the Products on the Site, You may seek a refund. Such refund will be made to You only in the event the payment has been received by Us for the Product.
  • Please be informed that when You opt to cancel or return the Products, upon our verification and assessment of the Products and the documents relating thereto, the refund amount for such Products which are eligible for return as per the terms of this Policy, will be processed within 48/72 hours from the date of Us receiving the returned Product back at our warehouse. Your refund will be processed only when the conditions as may be stipulated by Us are fulfilled, such as the Product being returned in original condition, along with the invoice, including original packaging of the Product, the brand outer packaging of the damage or defective or inaccurate Product and all accessories therein being intact.
  • The refund amount will be credited to the original payment mode opted by You.
  • We do not provide cash refunds. The amount will be refunded to You within 7 (seven) working days into the original mode of payment chosen by You.
  • Please note that refunds shall not be applicable in the case of purchase of Annual Maintenance Contracts.
  • Please note We shall not refund in cases where the Product has been installed and is in operation.
  • All refunds, where applicable, shall be made to the original instrument used at the time of purchase.
  • Refunds made to credit cards, debit cards, net banking (NEFT) shall be refunded within 15-21 days after the shipment has been picked up.
  • If the mode of payment was cash on delivery (COD), we will initiate a NEFT bank transfer to your bank account. We will contact You for your bank account details. It normally takes 7-10 days for your money to reflect in your bank account.

Miscellaneous Provisions

Limitation of liability:

Except for manufacturing defects, in no event shall We be liable to You or any other person for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including any loss of property, personal injury, death, by use or operation of our Products. No claim shall be entertained by Us for any loss arising out of damage or shortage of Products.

Modifications:

We reserve the right to change, alter or modify the terms and conditions of the Products as well as the design of the Products from time to time in effecting a process of continuous development and innovation. The revised terms and conditions will be updated on the Site.

Choice of law:

These terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with the applicable laws of India. The courts in Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute arising out or pertaining hereto.
